Day 1 Toronto

Upon arrival in Toronto, Transfer independently (not included) to your hotel.

Overnight: Toronto

 

Day 2 Toronto to Montreal

Transfer (not included) to Union Station to board VIA Rail, departing mid-morning, for Montreal. On arrival at Montreal’s Central Station, proceed (transfer not included) to your selected hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Included today is a Montreal Museum Pass,

Day 3 Montreal

Your discover of Montreal, the world’s second-largest French-speaking city, begins with a city excursion this morning. Highlights of this three hour excursion include Old Montreal, Notre-Dame Basilica, one of the masterpieces of religious architecture in North America, Olympic Park with the world’s tallest incline tower, Mount Royal Lookout, McGill University, Montreal Harbor. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 4 Montreal

Today, transfer (not included) to Montreal’s Jacques-Cartier Pier and experience Montreal as never before, aboard Le Bateau Mouche (included). Discover Montreal and the St. Lawrence River as they are rarely seen form the Paris-style riverboat. Le Bateau Mouche will take you safely upstream against the Sainte-Marie current. Live a bit of history as the glass-roofed boat goes through centuries old locks and visits the Park du Eduses (locks Park). See the sights from the boat as it travels under Montreal’s bridges and around the islands of Expo 67. Relax in comfort while knowledgeable onboard guides tell you about Montreal, its history, varied geography and its sparkling cultural life. Upon completion of your cruise, transfer (not included) to your hotel, where the remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 5 Montreal to Quebec City

Depart Montreal this morning by motor coach and travel to the capital city of the province of Quebec, Quebec City. Founded in 1608 by Samuel de Champlain, Quebec City is Canada’s oldest city and the cradle of French Civilization in North America. It is the seat of Government and the National Assembly UNESCO has recognized this importance of Quebec’s historical and cultural richness by naming the city a world heritage site. Upon arrival in Quebec City, proceed on a sightseeing excursion with highlights including the Plains of Abraham, site of the historic battle between French and British forces, Palace Royal, the National Assembly and upper and lower Quebec.

Day 6 Quebec City

Today is at leisure to discover the greater Quebec area. Quebec City is the only walled city north of Mexico. Built at the time to stave off unwanted visitors, today these same walls beckon you to share in the pleasures of a new experience. You will find yourself surrounded by a charming blend of ancient and modern architecture– an atmosphere both casual and elegant, with peaceful yet exciting activities.

Day 7 Quebec City to Toronto

Your day is at leisure until your transfer (not included) to the Quebec City Airport. Your holiday ends with a flight from Quebec City to Toronto with a connection in Montreal (airfare included)
