December 5, 2009 Friday:
Portland area
residents may wish to utilize the cab service from home to Union Station in
downtown Portland. The group will
board Amtrak train #750 departing Portland
at 8:30am and arriving in Seattle
at 12:00. On arrival in Seattle,
we transfer to our hotel for an overnight stay. The hotel will hold our luggage
should our rooms not be available yet. The afternoon and evening is free to
shop or explore Seattle on your
own. Your Escort can make suggestions for dining and shopping in the area.
Overnight: Red Lion 5th Avenue, Seattle
December 6, 2009 Saturday
An early morning transfer to Pier 69 where we will board the
Victoria Clipper for our boat trip to Victoria.
Breakfast items are available on board for purchase. On arrival in Victoria ,
transfer to our hotel. The hotel will hold our luggage should our rooms not be
available yet. The remainder of the afternoon is free to explore Victoria
on your own. Tonight enjoy an excursion to world renowned Butchart
Gardens all dressed up in Christmas
Lights.
Overnight: Chateau Victoria or similar
December 7, 2009 Sunday
Today, continue your shopping or exploration. We will
transfer from the hotel to the pier at 3:30pm,
so you will have time to shop or relax. At 4:00pm
we will board the Victoria Clipper for a 5:00pm
departure to Seattle. On arrival in
Seattle, we will transfer to our
hotel for an overnight stay.
Overnight: Red Lion 5th Avenue, Seattle
December 8, 2009 Monday
Today we transfer to the Seattle Amtrak station for our
return home. For those in the Portland
area, your taxi will be waiting for you.
Note: The Amtrak
return is scheduled for a 2:20
departure from Seattle. Please
advise our office should you wish to extend your stay in Seattle
and depart on the 5:00pm train.
