Day 0   Depart San Diego

Arrive at the pier and check in with Holland America. Board the ship and settle in. There will be a buffet on board for your enjoyment, then you have time to unpack before the sail away time

 

Day 1   At Sea

. Enjoy a full day of cruising at leisure. Now is a great time to take advantage of the many events held on board the ship, or perhaps you just want to kick back and relax, either way the day is yours.

 

Day 2   Scenic cruising Bahia Magdalena

Be on deck as your Holland America ship cruises through this beautiful bay, teaming with dolphins, sea lions and an incredible array of birdlife, from eagles to ibis. The big attraction, though, is the gray whales, here to breed, birth and nurse their young.

 

Day 3   Mazatlán, Mexico

Home of the largest shrimp fleet in the world, this cosmopolitan resort city temptswith miles of uninterrupted sandy beaches, busy markets and sleepy mining towns tucked away in the Sierra Madre. A selection of shore excursions are available on board the ship for purchase.

 

Day 4   Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

The quintessential Mexican Resort renowned for its cobbled streets, red-tiled roofs, beautiful bay and the luxurious villas of Gringo Gulch. A selection of shore excursions are available on board the ship for purchase.

 

Day 5   Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

At the tip of the Baja Peninsula, where the blue Pacific mingles with the Sea of Cortez in a whorl of watercolors. The big attractions: sportfishing, exquisite black coral, the annual migratyion of the gray whale. A selection of shore excursions are available on board the ship for purchase.

 

Day 6   At Sea

Enjoy a full day of cruising at leisure. Now is a great time to take advantage of the many events held on board the ship, or perhaps you just want to kick back and relax, either way the day is yours.

 

Day 7   San Diego

Arrive back in San Diego. After clearing customs, disembark the ship and head home to continue your journey.
