Heritage Park
Nestled on 26 hectares (66 acres) with an unparalleled
view of the famed Rocky Mountains,
Heritage park is Canada’s
largest living historical village. Divided into three time periods covering
from the 1860s to pre World War I, Heritage park
recreates early western Canadian history through costumed interpreters, street
theatre and over 150 buildings and exhibits. The Park has three modes of
transportation on site including a Steam engine train which operates around the
perimeter of the Park, the S.S. Moyie Sternwheeler,
which cruises the reservoir and horse-drawn wagon rides.
Calgary Tower
Morning, noon and night, the view just does not stop. The
total height of the Calgary Tower is 190.8 metres and
from the Observation Terrace, you stand 1,228 metres
above sea level. It takes 762 steps to reach the top. Two 25-passenger
elevators transport you to the top in just 48 seconds. Start with breakfast in
